GHS Class of 69 - Reunion Recap

The GHS Class of 69 Reunion was again held at Airy Knob Farm, located at 3645 S County Rd 200 W in Greencastle. 

Nestled within 92 acres of rolling hills and farmland, Airy Knob Farm serves as an upscale countryside retreat, featuring four bedrooms and six or seven bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests.

• Friday evening, Ham & Beans and all the fixings were served in the main kitchen at 5:30 pm.  Classmates lined up to help themselves, and then gathered into the spacious dining room to chat, exchange stories and reminisce.   
• After a quick poll, the group decided to watch the Indiana Fever play against the Las Vegas Aces on the big screen TV by the fireplace.  

Saturday morning  Breakfast was served to classmates who stayed overnight.  

• At 8:30,  Dan Murphy headed out to meet the classmates who had signed up to play Golf at Tiger Point:  John Blue, Bill Hamm, Jack Mace and Carolyn Torr Elliott. 

Saturday at 2pm, Francie Hurst (David Hurst's spouse) was busy in the kitchen heading up a focaccia bread-making class in the gourmet kitchen.   Other classmates were hanging out in the main gathering area, playing cards, shooting pool, chilling and swapping stories.  

The Saturday evening meal featured  "Italian night" which was prepared by several classmates, led by  Becky Reagan, Betty McGill, Deborah Broadstreet, Barbara Craig Linda Nichols and Francie Hurst.     

We had an Italian Night at last year's reunion...everyone loved it so much, we thought it was worth repeating!

Sunday breakfast was  served for those staying over Saturday night, beginning at 9am.  Everyone who there for breakfast become the "clean-up crew" and made quick work of the final  duties, through much laughing, and good natured ribbing.
